2024-2025: SammyAs a second year EV team, we set out to address issues from the previous season with the ultimate goal of reliability. VM25E implemented an Emrax 228 axial flux motor, more optimized billet components, and a partial chassis redesign. Because our team consumed chicken sandwiches at a rate much higher than the nation average, the car was given the nickname "Sammy".

2023-2024: Big SniffVM24E marked the transition from an internal combustion powertrain to electric. With a single rear mounted Turntide AF125 motor, custom BMS for a 400V accumulator, and 10 inch rims, we set out to make several advances in performance over previous years. Featuring a rather large nose cone, it earned the nickname "Big Sniff".

2022-2023: PalmerAfter two years of building for reliability, we decided to reduce our gravitational effects on the moon. With a new Drexler LSD, smaller radiator, and a better optimized chassis, we dropped ~200 lbs. And because of our team's relentless commitment to consuming Arnold Palmer tea, the car earned the nickname "Palmer".
