- Pay Dues
- Complete all Waivers/Forms
- Complete Safety Training

Joining Slack
- Visit https://VirginiaMotorsports.Slack.com/signup
- Sign up with your UVA email + verify email
- Download the Slack Desktop App and/or iOS/Android App (STRONGLY RECOMMENDED)
- Join any channels that you are interested in!
- Ensure notifications are set up properly!
- Mobile
- Go to the "Home" page of Slack and click on "You" on the bottom right of the screen
- Select "Notifications"
- At the top, select "On mobile, notify me about... All new messages"
- At the bottom, enable "Notify Me About Replies to Threads" and "Show In-App Notifications"
- Hit "Troubleshoot Notifications" to test out your push notifications, and if all is good you are good to go!
- Desktop
- Go to Preferences -> Notification
- At the top, select "Notify me about... All new messages" and "Notify me about replies to threads I'm following"
- Mobile

Paying Dues
There are two categories for dues: Membership and Social. In order to join the club as a member, you must pay the Membership dues, which includes a team shirt!
Social dues are optional but help support the various teambuilding and networking events held throughout the year, such as barbecues, watch-parties, and track days where members can bond with friends, family, alumni, and sponsors over various refreshments and activities.

Safety Training
In order to participate in the hands-on aspects of the organization, you'll need to complete four safety trainings if you haven't already: three online and one in-person with our Shop Supervisor, Sebring Smith, or a TA.
The three online safety trainings are as follows:
To complete your in-person safety training, you'll need to schedule a time to do so in Lacy Hall. This will be arranged through Slack, so please join and look out for information regarding this!
